What is Value for Value?

Value for Value (V4V) is a model where listeners directly compensate creators for the value they receive. Instead of ads, you can send Bitcoin micropayments (sats) to podcasters as you listen or as one-time boosts.

Is the Satiro wallet self-custodial?

Yes! Satiro uses LDK (Lightning Dev Kit) to create a fully self-custodial wallet on your device. You control your private keys. We never have access to your funds.

What platforms is Satiro available on?

Satiro is available on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux. Your subscriptions, favorites, and listening history sync across all your devices via the cloud.

Yes, Satiro is 100% free with no subscriptions, premium tiers, or ads. The app takes a small 1% fee only when you send boostagrams to creators, which helps fund development.

How do streaming payments work?

When enabled, Satiro sends tiny Bitcoin payments (streaming sats) to podcasters every minute while you listen. You set your own rate (sats per minute) and monthly budget. Payments go directly to creators via the Lightning Network.

Important Information

Before You Delete Your Account

Since Satiro uses a non-custodial Bitcoin wallet, make sure you have transferred any remaining Bitcoin funds from your wallet before requesting account deletion. We cannot recover your funds.

Your podcast subscriptions and favorites
Playlist configurations
App preferences and settings
Any usage data associated with your account

What Cannot Be Deleted

Bitcoin transactions already recorded on the blockchain
Lightning Network payment history that has been routed through other nodes
Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked to your account

How to Request Account Deletion

To request the deletion of your Satiro account, please send an email to our support team. We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation once completed.

Processing Time

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 2 business days and complete the deletion process within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

During the processing period, your account may be temporarily deactivated to prevent any further data collection.
